And how do you say "No you can't have one of your Granny's items?"
And who wants a globe?
Randy is fascinated with globes. Apparently, he has been since he was little.
I was fascinated with globes when I was little as well because I could play the "where will I live" game. You know, you spin the globe and skim your finger against it as it twirls and twirls. Where will it stop no one knows, but the stopping point would be your future address as an adult.
I'm so thankful I'm not living in the Atlantic Ocean. The whole ocean and land ratio was not in my favor. I always ended up landing in the water. Shark bait! Shark bait! Shark bait!
Our "new" globe is a little out of date. I'm pretty sure Granny had that globe when her children were little. I could do the finger skimming game and possibly end up living in the ocean or the USSR.
I'm not sure how to address the location of this globe.
Side note: We are revamping some things in the house. One of the things is turning the loft into a media center. We are going to move the current living room couch upstairs and add an end table and tv. I'm way excited about this, and a funny furniture story will soon be posted, but for now back to the "global" crises.
R: "Penny, I was thinking we could get an end table and put the globe on it in the loft."
P: (insert laugh here)
R: "I don't know why that's funny. I was thinking either there or on my nightstand by the bed."
P: (insert bigger laugh here)
