Hooray! Randy's birthday is today!
There are many reasons to be excited!
1) He was born on this day, duh!
2) I don't have to cook tonight, double duh!
So, it's always the birthday person's choice on where we eat out on their special night. The non-birthday person foots the bill.
Boy, oh boy, do I take advantage of this come September:)
Well, where will Randy pick to eat tonight?
I hope it's some place good! It'll probably be Moonie's Burger House. Don't get me wrong. Moonie's is delicious! But, there are so many other (better) choices.
I'm hoping he picks Cheesecake Factory. I love that place. Or maybe Texas Roadhouse. I could eat a steak kabob. Heck, let's go to Chuys! Nothing says "it's your birthday" than your own personal bowl of creamy jalapeno. OOhh, North by Northwest has that rosemary butter for their cheddar herb rolls.
Can you tell I'm hungry?
See post below for my healthy lunch. That explains my hunger pangs!
Snack time!

Vacation...Day 1
Finally...summer is here!!!! I am way pumped about my four weeks off! It's a big adjustment to when I was a teacher as far as the amount of time off, but as Randy says, "I don't want to hear any complaining."
So four weeks...I've been waiting for you for a long time!
Today I slept until 8:30. My dog thinks it's entertain Mopac day whenever anyone is home. She stood on the side of the bed and started whining at me around 8:15.
Don't worry, I made up for my early rise with 2 naps today.
I am lazy!
It was amazing!
I also had lunch with two of my favorite girls! Hannah, Jana, and I went to Chuy's!
Creamy jalapeno and 2 naps...I'd say it was a good first day off!

I missed out!
Randy comes down the stairs carrying Mopac tonight and says,
R: "We have a small problem. Mopac hurt herself."
Okay you can imagine my hysteria.
P: "What!?!!?!??!?!!!!!!!"
R: "She hit her head really hard on the corner of the banister."
I start breathing again and start rubbing her head.
R: "She needs a boo-boo bunny."
I love any mention of the boo-boo bunny. I did not have a boo-boo bunny when I was little, and well, I feel a little cheated.
We will have a boo-boo bunny in our freezer for our kiddos one day just like Randy had one when he was little.
Mopac you are lucky because the Internet shows your momma step-by-step instructions on how to make one.
One boo-boo bunny coming up. I have a summer project now!
I'm even going to learn the little poem.
If a boo boo has you feeling crummy,
Stick an ice cube in my tummy.
Hold it to your boo boo tight,
Soon everything will be all right!
There's a poem! Yes!!!!
Don't know what the heck I'm talking about?
Consider yourself as having missed out.
Here's the link.

Cheeseburger Calzones
I know this doesn't sound good, but it was delicious! I served ours in red plastic baskets with tator tots. I even whipped up mini vanilla milk shakes. Sometimes, I'm impressive:)

Things going on...
1) it's hot!!!
2) Randy is ticked that the Astros made a dumb pick in the draft. "The Astros need pitchers! And do they get one of the best pitchers available in the draft? No, they get an outfielder!" He's not ticked; he's irate. He's even emailing the GM of the team.
I'm not making that up. He's actually, wait for it, threatening to take his "fanship elsewhere." Is that even a word? He really thinks his email is going to make such a difference. I didn't have the heart to tell him if it survives the spam filter, it'll probably be automatically deleted.
Randy feels emails are powerful! He emailed the Willy Wonka company when they switched out the lime flavor with green apple in the sweet tarts. He actually got a reply. "Based on recent customer reviews, consumers prefer green apple over lime."
Well there ya' have it! Don't tick him off. He'll send you an email if so!
3) I'm so ready for my summer break. I miss being a teacher for this reason! Two more weeks!!!!
4) Staring at a computer all day long, crunching numbers, and creating sections in the master schedule is no fun!!! I'm so brain dead!
5) Why isn't it Tuesday, so I can watch "The Voice?"

June 2nd
On this day, four years ago I was tying the knot!
Everyone says you wedding will be magical. Well mine felt like a fairy tale. It was perfect. It was everything I dreamed it would be.
Looking back over the last four years, I would sum up our relationship with one word...growth.
We were babies getting married. Randy and I have been together since we were 18. Randy always told me that he was glad God gave me him so early that he didn't have to waste time figuring out women and all that dating stuff...awwwweeee!!!
Randy and I have been through a lot together. They always say "God gives you what you need to grow." We've been growing. From buying our first house together, finishing graduate school, finding ourselves in our careers, raising Mopac to be the best little dog in the world, celebrating the joys in life, and suffering through losses, we have been there for each other as we experienced many firsts, trials, and successes.
I wouldn't want to experience life without my best friend right by my side.
I love you Rands!!!
