I can't believe it!


So remember that house we built last summer? More importantly, do you remember me complaining about the most awful chore/labor intense duty we had to do? Yah, it was laying that sod. I seriously will complain about this for years. Not to mention, I haven't seen that Tiffany's bracelet. Leslie and I won "Wives of the Year" awards based on this sole activity. It was hot, humid, and not to mention wrist throbbing and back aching kinda work. Well we made a lot of mistakes on that first house. It was the first house we built. What do you expect? But I wasn't expecting this? This mistake needs to be in all caps.....MISTAKE!


Do you know how much it costs for the company who delivers the sod to install all of that grass? Yah here it comes....


$10 a pallet.....

We had 7 pallets.


I'm no math major, but this is easy to compute. This equals "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

70 measly bucks! So yah it was a mistake to assume it would be cheaper to do it ourselves. Derryk and Randy this is forgivable but barely. Rands will forever be hearing the following, "Did you ask how much it costs for them to just do it?"

Leslie told me when she just called, "I've been dying to tell you this" with a little chuckle. Hmmmm....boys I think we just earned ourselves another dinner out because of this....
